FOR LIFE Couples & Families

For Life provides dating, engaged and married couples with supportive community, practical tools, and wise leadership on how to build and sustain strong, healthy and Godly marriages that last “until death do us part.”  Pastors Tim and Jess’ foundational scripture for their marriage is “Can two people walk together without agreeing on the direction?” (Amos 3:3 NLT). Through educational, empowering, and encouraging activities and facilitated biblical teaching concerning marriage, For Life helps married and engaged couples walk in agreement with God and one another…for life.

For Life leaders are Certified Facilitators of PREPARE ENRICH, a comprehensive program designed to build strong marriages. With the use of a customized online assessment, PREPARE ENRICH helps couples explore areas of strength and places for growth; improve communication skills; identify and manage major stressors; resolve conflicts; develop more balanced relationships as a couple and with family; understand personality differences and maximize teamwork within the home.

Completion of the PREPARE ENRICH assessment and at least 12 hours of premarital education is required for couples planning to get married at IMPACT LIVING Ministry and/or by ILM Pastors. As part of the premarital process, engaged couples are also strongly encouraged to complete Thrivent’s free online Money Canvas program
