WORD LIFE BIBLE STUDY

At ILM, we understand that the Word of God is the believer’s moral and spiritual compass.  As Psalm 119:105 states, the Word is “a lamp to [our] feet and a light to [our] path.” In today’s chaotic and dark world, we need the light of the Word of God more than ever to guide our way, each and every day. That’s why we have Wednesday night Word Life bible study.

In the book of Acts, Jesus’ disciples steadfastly “devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.” (Acts 2:42 NIV). In the same spirit as that powerful inaugural Christian community, Word Life provides an opportunity for IMPACTORS to come aside in the middle of the week and fellowship around the Word. Through a contemporary, convenient online format and Zoom breakout rooms, Word Life creates space for intimate dialogue, meaningful discipleship, and deeper engagement with the Word on relevant topics applicable to everyday living.  By centering down in community and “rightly dividing the word of truth” (2 Tim. 2:15), IMPACTORS not only grow in biblical literacy, but also in our relationships with God and one another.
